PERFORMERS WANTED
BRAVE SPACES an opera about coping with the future
Are you between 16 and 29 years old and interested in a theater project in a professional environment?
We are looking for young people who want to develop a play together and bring it to the stage of the Junge Oper Stuttgart from September 2025!
We will ask ourselves questions about the shaky future, the courage required, invisible boundaries and open spaces, and experiment with movement, music, stage design, costumes, texts and performance. If you are interested in one or more of these areas, then join us!
You don’t need any special knowledge, no previous experience, no money – just a desire for theater or dance, new people, good questions and a little time.
SCHEDULE
- From September 2025 we will rehearse every two weeks From January 2026 we will rehearse once a week
- From 11.05.2026 to 04.06.2026 there will be an intensive rehearsal period with additional rehearsal dates by arrangement
- The first performance is on 04.06.2026
- Further performances are on 05 + 06 June 2026 and on 10, 11 + 12 July 2026
INFO EVENT
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025 (18:30-20:00) and on Saturday, September 20, 2025 (16:00- 17:30) there will be an information event to tell you more about the project and to clarify questions. You are cordially invited!
